Use Direction:
Plug in the cable (USB and 3.5mm aux jack) first to the AUX on your BMW when the car is off, then start your car then switch to AUX, then plug in your iPhone (do not plug your device into the cable, before you plug the cable to your BMW).
In case there is only AUX INPUT in your BMW or Mini Models, you can connect the USB to cigarette lighter to charge your IPOD/IPHONE (need cigarette lighter USB adapter, not included)
